Mechanical Construction — Sr. Project Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager with a strong background in commercial and industrial mechanical construction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems and the ability to manage projects from estimating and planning through execution, completion, and closeout. The role would be well suited for someone with experience in HVAC, piping, plumbing, sheet metal, fabrication, and design-build projects, along with strong project management and field coordination skills.

• Manage multiple mechanical construction projects from preconstruction/estimating through project closeout.
• Oversee commercial and industrial HVAC, piping, plumbing, and sheet metal projects.
• Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and customers.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, manpower, materials, and overall project performance.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements and coordinate design-build activities.
• Support estimating, scope development, cost tracking, change orders, and project forecasting.
• Utilize AutoCAD/CAD knowledge to review and coordinate mechanical designs and layouts.
• Work closely with field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
• Manage projects across a variety of environments, including commercial, light industrial, retail, and government facilities.

• 7+ years of mechanical construction experience, with significant exposure to plumbing, piping, and/or sheet metal.
• Experience with a mechanical contractor, MEP contractor, or specialty subcontractor.
• Experience managing projects ranging from mid-size to $50M+ mechanical scopes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, BIM/VDC coordination, and scheduling software preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Construction, or a related field is preferred but not required with strong industry experience.
